Project 4: Fixing the broken School wall

Upon the request of Barur Elementary Sschool Head Master and teacher Miss. Selvi, Kumara foundation funded the school to build a damaged outer fence wall. Upon completion of the project, the school could protect school property from vandalism.

Project 5: Deepavali sweets to childrens of Sellagudapatti and Barur Elementary School Students

Deepavali is a colorful festival that is celebrated by all Hindus worldwide is Deepavali, which is also known as the festival of lights. This festival usually falls around late October and November. One important practice that the Hindus follow during the festival is to light oil lamps in their homes on Deepavali morning.

By lighting the oil lamps, the Hindus are thanking the gods for the happiness, knowledge, peace and wealth that they have received. The Hindus consider Deepavali as one of the most important festivals to celebrate. Kumara Foundation celebrated deepavli with the Sellagudapatti and Barur Elementary School Students and distribted sweets to ~150 students.

Project 6: Motivation speech to the Barur Higher Secondary School Students:

Mr. Mahadeva Rao Asst professor Biochemistry SRM College, Chennai delivered a motivation speech to the 11th and 12th standard students at the Barur Higher Secondary School. The talk is to educate and create awareness in the students regarding the available future studies and jobs in the world.

Project 7: Motivation speech to the Barur Higher Secondary School Students:

Mr. Mohamed Yaseen Nasseera MSc, M.Phil, M.A, M.Phil, Vice Principal, TSN College, Chennai delivered a motivation speech on 19th November 2008 to the 11th and 12th standard students at the Barur Higher Secondary School. Mr. Mahadeva Rao, Mr. Rajendran also spoke during the meeting. The talk is to educate and create awareness in the students regarding the available future studies and jobs in the world.
